SPCA's Taupō Centre at Centennial Drive was opened in 2010 and takes care of animals in need throughout the Taupō district 365 days a year.

We also run the Snip and Chip cat desexing campaigns in our community, sell items such as Purina pet food; cat and kitten adoption packs; and toys, leads and collars at our Front of House store.

Our staff work hard to ensure animals are given a second chance at the life they deserve, in forever homes.

The centre has an Op-shop in the Taupō township which is run almost entirely by wonderful volunteers. Alongside public donations, the Op-shop generates vital funds to finance our centre’s day to day running.
